Images are automatically optimized and stored securely. You can right-click on any image in the editor to delete it.

Editor Features

  • Auto-save - Your content is automatically saved as you type
  • Undo/Redo - Use the undo and redo buttons or keyboard shortcuts
  • Distraction-free - Clean, minimal interface helps you focus on writing
  • Paste as plain text - Pasted content is automatically cleaned of formatting

Post Metadata

Title

Enter your post title in the large text field at the top of the editor. The title is used to:
  • Display your post in listings
  • Generate the URL slug (e.g., “My First Post” becomes /my-first-post)
  • Serve as the page title for SEO
Titles must be unique. If you try to publish a post with a duplicate title, you’ll receive an error.

Cover Images

While the current editor focuses on in-content images, you can add images directly within your post content that will be displayed prominently.

Excerpts

Excerpts are short summaries of your post used in:
  • Post listings and previews
  • Social media sharing
  • SEO meta descriptions
The excerpt field is available in the post settings.

Publishing Your Post

Publishing Workflow

  1. Write your content - Use the editor to create your post
  2. Review - Check your formatting, images, and links
  3. Click Continue - The button in the top-right corner
  4. Wait for processing - You’ll see a “Publishing…” screen
  5. View your post - You’ll be redirected to the live post
Publishing takes a few seconds as your content is processed and deployed globally.

Draft vs Published

Posts have two states:
  • Draft - Saved but not visible to readers
  • Published - Live and accessible on your blog
Drafts are automatically saved as you write. Only published posts appear on your blog.

  • Session expired - Log out and log back in if you see an authentication error
Try:
  • Check your internet connection
  • Ensure the image file is not too large (recommended under 5MB)
  • Use common image formats (JPG, PNG, GIF)
The editor auto-saves, but if you navigate away before saving:
  • Check your Posts list for a draft version
  • Use browser back button if you just navigated away
  • Ensure you’ve selected text before applying formatting
  • Try the keyboard shortcuts if toolbar buttons aren’t responding
  • Refresh the page and try again
